The purpose of this book is to share with you from the Bible, the sequential end time plan of God. This will include God’s plan contained in His feast days, the predicted signs, and the counting of days revealed in the word of God. In Luke Jesus gave us an overview of how things would be in our day and time:
There will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth dismay among nations, in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and the waves, men fainting from fear and the expectation of the things which are coming upon the world; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.(Luke 21:25–26)
As Christians we believe God had the Israelites rehearse Passover for hundreds of years believing it was a prophetic feast pointing to Christ as our Passover Lamb and the first fruit that rose from the dead, thereby fulfilling prophetic events on precise days (the death of the “Lamb of God” precisely on Passover; the resurrection of Jesus the First Fruit precisely at the dawning of the day of the Feast of First Fruits).
In the same way I believe that logical deduction teaches that there will be a prophetic summer harvest on Pentecost; the rapture of the church. The next event on the prophetic feast day calendar is the eight days of the fall in gathering during the Feast of Trumpets. Those Israelites gathered (see Matthew 24:31) will then fulfill the next feast day of Yom Kipper, which falls on the tenth of Tishri, as “they will look on me whom they pierced”. (Zechariah 12:10). Those that look on and accept the “one whom they have pierced” as their true Messiah will receive wedding garments with an invitation to attend an eight day wedding feast which will start on the fifteenth of Tishri, also known as the Feast of Tabernacles.
This book confirms the foundational truths rehearsed in the feast days as they present the Grace of God, His plan of redemption, the good news, the rapture of the church, the redemption, and the celebration of all of God’s elect.
It is my firm conviction that believers in Christ are expected to know Gods’ plan - even the very feast day on the Jewish calendar upon which He will return for His bride, the church. As a believer in His plan and knowing God cannot lie, I am compelled to share the reasons we can know when this grand event will occur.
The Bible teaches in several ways how we can and should know that day. For one thing, there will be a “heavenly sign” revealed before that day. In fact when believers see that heavenly sign Jesus encourages them to “look up” to “lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.” (Luke 21:28). There is a pattern laid out in the Bible that teaches us the day upon which this sign will occur. Once we see that sign we are commanded to “count the days” from that sign to calculate the coming day of the rapture of the church. Now, I hasten to add that even though the sign and the day are precisely given in my present understanding, the year is not. However, this book does address possible ways to discern the year via other signs Jesus encouraged us to watch for.
“But you, brethren, are not in darkness, that the day would overtake you like a thief” (1 Thessalonians 5:4).
