Company and PT update!

There are some exciting things happening at Tate Publishing right now! Chris Rutherford, Bryan Norris, and Dr. Tate are heading up a new company called Creative Publishing Solutions. You can read about it here. CPS will be acquiring individuals and/or organizations that would like to set up their own publishing company. Those new companies will go out and sign authors under their specific publishing company, and CPS will do the production work.

It is very likely that if you work in production at Tate Publishing, that you may also work on a project that falls under the CPS umbrella. We are modifying project tracker to make sure the transition to bring on other companies is as smooth as possible. Below are two screen shots of a recent change. We’ve added in the logos of the companies so when working on a page you can easily identify which Publisher that project falls under. Each Publisher will have their own logos that will be used on their projects.

In the examples below, there is a Tate Publishing project, and a Winters Publishing Group  project.

This is an exciting time, with room to grow and expand as we look to increase what we offer and accomplish on a daily basis here at Tate!
